An award-winning Russian-American contralto Evgenia Pirshina has been highly acclaimed for the unique quality of her timbre and acting ability.

A native of Moscow, Evgenia started her musical education as a pianist at the age of 6, continued as a singer, and graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical University.
She has performed in Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theater (Moscow, Russia), Chicago Opera Theater (Chicago, USA),
Solis Theatre (Montevideo, Uruguay),
National Opera America Center (NYC, USA), Bel Cantanti Opera (Washington DC, USA), and Opera Panama (Panama City, Panama), among others.
Also, Evgenia participated in a concert of Russian Sacred Music in the Vatican in Pope Francis's presence and the Grand opening of the
Amphitheatre in Doha, Qatar.
In season 2021 -2022, Evgenia will perform Symphonic Songs by Gustav Mahler with Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra under the button of Maestro Timothy Verville, participate in Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 with the National Symphony Orchestra of Uruguay under the button of Maestro Stefan Lano,
debut as Sorceress in the opera by H. Purcell "Dido & Aeneas" in Solis Theatre, will join Opera Panama for the annual Opera Gala, will perform in the Kimmel Cultural Center (Philadelphia, PA), and XV International Music Festival
Alfredo De Saint-Malo in Panama City.
Highlights of the season 2019-2020 are the debut as Maddalena in "Rigoletto" by G. Verdi in Solis Theater (Montevideo), Opera Gala with Panama National Symphony Orchestra, and solo recitals in Montevideo, Florence, Charleston, SC, and Chicago.
